Marek Losey started his career in the film industry as a runner at the age 16. His career as a director started in advertising, he has directed numerous advertising campaigns for many of the worlds best known brands.​

Marek’s debut feature film, THE HIDE received excellent critical acclaim, achieving nominations at The Evening Standard Film Awards, The British Independent Film Awards and The Writer’s Guild. Accolades followed with a further six nominations and seven awards internationally.

TV productions include fantasy, action drama, BEOWULF, Stan Lee’s action, super hero creation, STAN LEE’S LUCKY MAN, two Netflix TV features for the Emmy-winning show, FREE REIN, and BBC,Hulu sci-fi drama series, SILVERPOINT. Marek’s most recent work includes screenwriter of THE CAGE feature film for MBC Studios and season 1 of A KIND OF SPARK for the BBC. Marek is currently in post production on season 2 of A KIND OF SPARK.
